Before becoming a software developer I was a jazz violinist and absolutely thrive on small teams where we take turns leading and supporting: that is essentially what improvised music is, to me that is the essence of the creative process, no matter what the medium.
I love learning new things and having new experiences. Currently, I'm excited about using Rust to build performant, stable, and scalable systems, furthering my knowledge of databases and data modeling, and working towards a BSc of Computer Science through the Open University.

A survey application built for UK non-profit Sick in the City, allowing potential clients to complete a workplace accessibility quiz, with an admin back end for managing quiz content and viewing data analytics. Built with Next.js, TypeScript, and MongoDB.
A Synthesizer/Sequencer application built with React/TypeScript, Next.js, and Tone.js, using Recoil for state management. The user can create a palette of notes and play music.
A time management command line application for tracking time spent on various tasks, built with Rust. Tasks and their individual events are stored in an SQLite database.
